This 2017 is proving to be a truly dynamic year for watchmaking houses, with numerous changes at the top in the 'upper floors' of the major houses. Just three weeks ago we told you about the change at the top at Ulysse Nardin Italy, with Fabrizio Nembrini appointed new Brand Manager.

But, as we said, the news are now on the agenda.

The group Kering, world leader in the luxury sector and owner of Ulysse Nardin, has just announced that as of August 28, 2017 Patrick Pruniaux  will be the new CEO of the historic watchmaking maison, going to replace  Patrick P. Hoffmann.  Will report to Albert Bensoussan, General Manager of the «Luxe - Montres et Joaillerie» division in Kering.

Patrick Pruniaux  for nine years he held various positions of responsibility at Tag Heuer and later at Apple where he helped launch the Apple Watch. As CEO of Ulysse Nardin, he will have the task of accelerating the international development of the Swiss Haute Horlogerie Maison by relying on its capacity for innovation and the excellence of its skills.
