Among the elements that characterize the Polaris le three crowns: one to set the alarm (top), one for the rotating inner bezel (at 3 o'clock) and one to set the alarm (bottom). The 'Alarm Clock' performs a function of Memovox, or "voice of memory", served to remind divers that it was time to return to the surface.

The vintage connotation of the dial was also made possible thanks to the use of the Super-LumiNova vanilla color. The center disc is set using the alarm crown and turns to align the triangle at the desired time.
