[: en] The spotlights are turned on on one of the most anticipated appointments in the world of watchmaking, we are talking about the Grand Prix d'Horlogerie de Geneve (GPHG), come to his 18esima edition.

There are 72 pre-selected watches, divided into 12 categories, in the race to win the title of best watch of the year in one of the 16 prizes, including 'Aiguille d'Or' (Golden hand) Grand Prix.

The Foundation of the Grand Prix d'Horlogerie de Geneve has just released the list of 72 watches, selected by an independent jury of 30 experts and enthusiasts of the sector from all over the world, for each of the following categories:

Ladies '- Ladies' Complication - Men's - Men's Complication- Chronograph - Chronometry - Challenge - Mechanical Exception - “Petite Aiguille” - Sports - Jewelery - Artistic Crafts.

The winners will be announced Friday November 9 during the ceremony that will take place at the Théâtre du Léman in Geneva.

During these two months of approaching the final, the 72 watches they can be admired by fans from all over the world thanks to a real universal exhibition able to represent more than 40 watchmaking houses.

This year the first stage of the roadshow will take place in the splendid Venice il 28 Settembre, with an exclusive event at theArsenal organized in collaboration with BMW Italy. Save the date!
