The brand was born from the genius of Maximilian Busser, who was part of Harry Winston's team until 2005, when he decided to found his own company and since that day, the MB&F brand, which embodies freedom and creativity, presents a new timepiece only when it is certain that it is a true work of art. And also this time it manages to surprise with the two watches presented at SIHH 2019.

The first is the brand new MB&F Medusa, the result of the tenth collaboration with the world-famous manufacturer L'Epée 1839 which is inspired by the warm ocean waters in which this elegant and ancient animal lives. The Medusa clock has a dual configuration and is enclosed in Murano glass that has made the transparent glass dome, skilfully hand blown and available in blue, green or pink (each color variant of the Medusa clock is limited to 50 pieces. ).

Thanks to the transparency of the glass, it is possible to observe two rotating discs that indicate the hours and minutes. It is possible to read the time thanks to a fixed indicator that extends over both discs. Similar to a jellyfish in the night, the clock glows in the dark thanks to the substance Super Luminova, which gives a touch of magic to this extraordinary timepiece. This creation lights up any type of room and can be mounted on the ceiling or placed on a desk.

The second model is the MB&F MH6 Final Edition, the final version of its iconic MB&F HM6 series, in production since 2014, reaches with the 8 pieces of the HM6 "Final Edition" quota 100 specimens. Its original design is inspired by the spaceship of Captain Futuro, the protagonist of the Japanese animated series of the 70s and 80s.

For the new model in the series, the brand has chosen a 52 mm stainless steel case with a blue pattern inspired by the temperature of the stars. The color stands out on the oscillating weight, numerals and indices in platinum. The hours and minutes are indicated under sapphire domes perpendicular to the case and are driven by bevel gears. The movement, with 68 jewels and 475 components, is protected by the friction of air generated by two turbines, which prolongs the longevity of the watch avoiding overload and the influence of external agents.

Another typical feature of the watch is the flying tourbillon. This complication is placed under a dome which also contains a retractable shield. The shield protects the rotating case's lubricating oils from the harmful effects of ultraviolet rays, thus improving the accuracy of the watch's mechanism, which is complemented by an alligator leather strap and a matching steel buckle.

The Final Edition is animated by the same movement also contained in the HM6 watches created by MB&F and David Candaux. This caliber has a 72-hour power reserve and is water resistant to 30m. It will be available in just 8 units at a price of around 210.000 EURO.
