Breguet has just presented a new piece in its Classique collection: the Breguet Classique 5177 Grand Feu Blue Enamel, an elegant watch with an enamel dial.
The 5177 model, which has been in production since 2006, is one of the most recognizable models in the Breguet collection. While the watches have evolved over time, the key features of the reference, such as the case, straight lugs and typical Breguet hands have remained the same. The Breguet Classique 5177 Grand Feu Blue Enamel has a beautiful deep blue Grand Feu enamel dial, in place of the lighter dials mounted on the previous 5177s.
The inspiration for the color comes from the blued steel hands, and finding the perfect shade of blue that resembled the tone of the steel hands was no small task. To ensure clearer legibility, given the dark blue of the dial, the classic Breguet moon-point steel hands are coated with rhodium to stand out even more against the background and the numbers, diamond-shaped indexes and fleur-de-lis they are silver and large, always for the same purpose.
