Patek Philippe presents a new large self-winding complication that combines the exclusive display system of a second time zone and the 24-hour alarm mechanism, thanks to a hammer that reproduces a classic timbre.

For the creation of this timepiece, the manufacture has specially developed a brand new integrated movement which has led to the filing of four new patents for this type of alarm. The quintessential traveler's watch is presented with an elegant 42.2mm Pilot-style platinum case.

Continuing the expansion of their aeronautical sports themed spin-off of Calatrava, Patek has therefore just announced a new model with a really interesting grand complication, which makes this timepiece the quintessential travel watch.

The new 5520P Alarm Travel Time takes aesthetics from 5524G and adds the 24-hour alarm function with a digital display for the alarm time.

The self-winding mechanical movement is the Caliber AL 30-660 SC FUS. On the black ebony soleil dial, the numerals are applied in gold with a luminescent coating. The alarm time display is in a window, as well as the on / off indication and the day and night indication of the alarm itself. Price 209.190 EURO.
