Patek Philippe's famous and popular 5170 chronograph (which replaced the even more famous 5070 presented in 1998) now has a new successor, made with a new case and a blue dial.
Patek Philippe redesigns its hand-wound chronograph Caliber CH 29-535 with column wheel and horizontal clutch, equipping it with a new case with round guilloché buttons and triple knurled lugs (three-level lugs).
4 The dial also changes, now featuring a painted blue background where the applied Arabic numerals and luminescent white gold hands stand out.
It features two sub-dials: a 30-minute counter and small seconds, as well as for the two ancestors 5070 and the 5170. For the time being it will be available only in white gold and with a blue painted dial with a matte and slightly grained texture, al price of EURO 67.990.
