The Chronomètre Municipality Contemporain Municipality is the first watch in the collection by Rexhep Rexhepi, one of the most talented watchmakers in the industry and founder of AkriviA. In terms of design, the watch has an approach neoclassical and stands out from the main collection of the brand. A crate round, with a subtly concave bezel and blunt curved sheaths, surrounds a enamel dial Great Fire where the hours, minutes and seconds are shown.

All AkriviA watches are impeccable, handmade as it happened in the old days, elevating the art of watchmaking to the highest level. The young master watchmaker affirms that the starting point of his creation were the watches of the officers of the 1940s reinvented for the 21st century. The clock is, at first glance, undervalued, but below the its apparent simplicity hides the exceptional mastery.

Available with a black or white Grand Feu enamel dial (processing a white Grand Feu enamel dial is in itself a difficult process, but producing one in intense black is even more complex).

The distinctive layout incorporates asymmetrical lines inspired by Art Deco in gold or blue, crossing and segmenting Roman numerals in a rhythmic way. The dial, signed for the first time under the name of Rexhep Rexhepi and not under the brand name of the AkriviA brand, is completed by meticulously crafted "polybercé" gold hands.

The 38 mm case in rose gold or platinum, is finished with surfaces brushed and smoothed alternates. The leather strap is well integrated and offers great comfort on the wrist.

A look through the back reveals the hand-wound caliber RR01 working at 18,000 vibrations per hour, the variable inertia barbell has four screws of and the spiral spring has a Breguet overlapping coating.  The symmetrical design of the movement, which has a 100-hour power reserve, has a top-notch architecture and finish with traditional techniques such asAnglage and the Côtes de Genève.

Although hidden under the dial, the stop mechanism and zero seconds is great. A small spring comes into contact with the barbell, stopping the movement and at the same time, the little second hand is reset (zero reset).
