The new born of the collection Carl F. Bucherer Heritage it is an ode to the 50s given its retro design, but at the same time it is a modern interpretation of watchmaking, as it combines an automatic chronograph with the practicality of an annual calendar.

Inspired by a 1956 chronograph produced by the brand, the new model Heritage Chrono BiCompax Annual adopts more contemporary codes, thanks to the wider case diameter, now 41 mm (instead of the delicate 34 mm case of the model of the time) available in two different versions, both limited to 888 pieces. The first version is a classic sports chronograph with a silver dial and black counters (a kind of Panda dial), complemented by a modern black rubber strap.

The second version combines elements in steel and rose gold and the dial features a delicate two-tone pattern, with a “rosaceous” dial on a champagne-colored background. This more luxurious and elegant model is complemented by a vintage-style brown leather strap.

The case design, with its curved lines, domed sapphire crystal, and elongated chronograph pushers clearly have that 50s retro feel. The lugs are thin and combine brushed and polished surfaces for a dynamic look. Due to the rather complex automatic movement, the case is very thick and measures a height of 14,05 mm.

In addition to the chronograph, the tachymeter scale that surrounds the dial and the two counters, this watch also indicates the date thanks to a double window below 12 o'clock and a small opening between 4 and 5 for the indication of the month, managed from an annual calendar, which means that only one adjustment per year will be required.

The watch is powered by an automatic movement (based on ETA) with a 42-hour power reserve, visible through a sapphire caseback.
Il Carl F. Bucherer Heritage Chrono BiCompax Annual it will be available at a price of EURO 6.900 in the steel edition and EURO 10.500 for the steel and rose gold one.
