We have talked a lot about men's watches in previous articles, but we have not forgotten in the least to dedicate time to watchmaking aimed at the fair sex.
Despite the small size of the Baselworld This year, some brands unveiled a solid assortment of luxury women's watches geared to the growing crowd of female watch enthusiasts. Below, our top three women's watch picks from Baselworld 2019.

On the lowest step of the podium, one of the most popular luxury women's watches of recent decades, the new J12 di Chanel which celebrates its twentieth anniversary with a completely new movement, the 12.1 caliber, realized by Kenissi, a Geneva-based watch manufacturer that sold a 20% stake to Chanel earlier this year. From a design point of view, the new watch Chanel J12, available in both black and white, retains much of its iconic monochromatic look, with their 38 mm steel and ceramic case and their ceramic bracelet. The price of this splendid timepiece is approximately EUR 5.700.

In second place in our personal ranking, the new ones Nautilus in 7118 / 1R-001 and 7118 / 1R-010 rose gold Patek Philippe. This new Nautilus Automatic for Women in rose gold reinterprets its sporty and elegant style with bezels without diamonds and with dials in refined colors: silvery opaline and golden opaline. The rose gold bracelet, which combines satin and polished finishes like the case and bezel, has a new folding clasp with an integrated extension system. The self-winding caliber 324 SC is visible through the sapphire crystal case back. Price 43.930 EURO.
We certainly couldn't go round the best women's watches at Baselworld 2019 without mentioning the magnificent Legacy Machine FlyingT di MB & F, the watch that occupies the first place in our personal ranking. The round case with slender and elongated lugs is completely set with diamonds. An extravagant dome of sapphire crystal rises from the bezel.

Under the dome, a subtly curved dial, liquid black with layers of shimmering lacquer or blazing white diamonds. A flying tourbillon projects the rest of the movement upward, a dynamic column that stops just before the apex of the dome. At 7 o'clock there is a black or white lacquer dial showing the hours and minutes with elegant serpentine hands.

The dial is tilted at 50 ° in such a way as to make it possible for the wearer to read the time only, a sort of intimate communication that highlights the personal nature of the LM FlyingT. On the back, the self-winding rotor takes the form of a three-dimensional red sun with sculpted rays, providing 100 hours of power reserve.

As mentioned, the timepiece will be presented in three versions, all in white gold and set with diamonds, completed by a calfskin or alligator leather strap with a pin buckle also in 18-karat white gold, also with diamonds. The model with a black lacquer dial with brilliant cut diamonds will be available at a price of approximately 108.000 EURO. The model with a brilliant-cut diamond-set dial will be available for approximately EUR 135.000. Finally, the version with a dial set with baguette-type diamonds will cost, more or less, 298.000 EURO.
