Blue is an elegant color that has that extra touch that a black or silver dial usually doesn't offer. Vacheron Constantin creates an emblematic model of the collection Patrimony with a midnight blue shading created especially for the line.
With its flat case and its ultra-thin movement with high-end finishes, the Vacheron Patrimony Perpetual Calendar Ultra-Thin it is certainly one of the best examples of an elegant perpetual calendar watch with a classic shape.
Already in circulation for a few years and available in several editions, the Geneva-based manufacture now gives a fresher look to this piece. The base remains identical to what we have seen in the past, namely a 41mm 18k rose gold case with a thin and flat bezel, short lugs and a slender profile.
The main novelty of this piece is the dial, which has been treated with a special shade of "Midnight blue", specially developed for this collection.
All the hands and indexes are in 18K rose gold and the minutes are indicated by small “pearly” dots.
The perpetual calendar display is traditional and quite legible. The date is indicated at 3 o'clock, the day of the week at 9 o'clock and finally months and leap year, in a sub-dial at 12 o'clock.
The Vacheron Patrimony Perpetual Calendar Ultra-Thin is equipped with the 1120 QP, a well-known movement based on a JLC extension, now manufactured internally by Vacheron.
This movement (which runs at 19.800 vibrations / hour, comprises 276 components and boasts a power reserve of 40 hours), is beautifully decorated, has a cross-shaped oscillating weight of Malta and smooth bevels, all to the high standards of the Geneva brand.
Complete with a dark blue alligator strap combined with a folding clasp, it will be exclusive to the brand's boutiques and will sell for 81.000 EURO.
