Glashütte Original watchmakers have extensive experience in combining traditional workmanship with innovative ideas. This union is reflected in the varied collection of the Saxon manufacture and is enhanced once again in the new PanoInverse Limited Edition.

This masterpiece, which reinterprets the concept of openly displaying the internal beauty of a watch, features a balance wheel bridge that seems to “float” inside the movement thanks to the expertly shaped support. Today, the new limited edition still features the richly engraved “butterfly bridge” and its screw balance wheel that rhythmically pulsates center stage.

The possibility of admiring the characteristic shape of the three-quarter plate, generally positioned at the rear of the movement and visible only through the sapphire crystal caseback, constitutes a further added value for this limited edition of the PanoInverse. The leaf decoration flows over the rhodium-plated surface in fine lines and delicate ramifications, and not only on the front with the balance wheel, but also on the back of the movement.

This hand engraving is not just a further reference to the Glashütte tradition: in the best sense of the word, the engraver's handwriting transforms each of the 25 watches into a unique work.

The unusual appearance of the watch is enhanced by screwed gold bezels, red rubies, blued screws and gilded engravings. The skeletonization also appears in a prominent element: the white gold hour and minute hands.

The hand-wound caliber 66-08, reversed in an original way, beats at a frequency of 4 Hz and has an autonomy of 41 hours. In addition to the hour, minute and small second indications, the watch features a power reserve indicator and a seconds stop mechanism. The beautifully finished movement is housed in a 42mm polished and satin-finished platinum case. The crown is embellished with a blue sapphire cabochon. The cornflower blue of the screws, the finely grained dial and the dark blue Louisiana alligator strap add splashes of blue.

The new platinum watch, produced in just 25 pieces, writes a new chapter in the success story of Glashütte Original's PanoInverse line. Price EURO 46.200.
