The contribution of Audemars Piguet for the auction Only Watch 2019 takes shape from its latest and controversial creation, the Code 11.59. For the occasion, the brand presented a two-tone model of the model with Tourbillon Openworked, truly a unique piece!

This collection, completely new to Audemars, proposed a different approach to the concept of the brand, something to add to the series of Royal Oak is Royal Oak Offshore.

This two-tone version really emphasizes the complexity and architectural forms of Audemars Piguet's Code 11.59 case. In this case, the central ottagon-shaped part (characteristic shape of the brand), is made of 18-carat rose gold, with brushed and glossy surfaces. The rest of the parts of the case, which refer to the ultra-thin round bezel, sculptural fins and caseback, are made of 18k white gold creating an interesting contrast between the different parts of this complex case.

The fully skeletonized manual-wound movement is delicately excavated with modern curves that reveal the interior parts of this in-house caliber. Following the two-tone theme, most of the movement is rhodium-like and features a rose gold titanium tourbillon and barrel bridges with round, rhodium-colored polished corners.

The decoration is superb, with no less than 70 hand polished corners. An internal bezel in opaline silver-colored white gold frames the movement. This unique model is complemented by a black alligator strap.
