The contribution of Audemars Piguet for the auction Only Watch 2019 takes shape from its latest and controversial creation, the Code 11.59. For the occasion, the brand presented a two-tone model of the model with Openworked Tourbillon, truly a unique piece!

This collection, completely new to Audemars, proposed a different approach to the concept of the brand, something to add to the series of Royal Oak e Royal Oak Offshore.
This two-tone version truly emphasizes the complexity and architectural shapes of the Audemars Piguet Code 11.59 case. In this case, the octagon-shaped central part (characteristic shape of the brand) is made of 18-karat rose gold, with brushed and polished surfaces. The rest of the case parts, which refer to the ultra-thin round bezel, sculptural lugs and caseback, are crafted in 18k white gold creating an interesting contrast between the different parts of this complex case.
The fully skeletonized hand-wound movement is delicately carved with modern curves that reveal the insides of this in-house made caliber. Following the two-tone theme, the majority of the movement is rhodium-plated and features a rose gold-colored titanium tourbillon and barrel bridges with rhodium-colored polished round corners.
The decoration is superb, with no less than 70 hand-polished corners. An opaline silver-tinted white gold inner bezel frames the movement. This unique model is completed with a black alligator strap.
