After shipments Arctos (2002-2004), North Pole Winter (2006) Pangea (2008-2012) and Pole2Pole (2016-2019), Panerai rejoins Mike Horn and it does, unveiling a special edition watch, a Submersible Tourbillon GMT available in just 5 pieces, which will allow buyers to experience the Arctic with the South African / Swiss explorer.

In the last months, Panerai presented several watches linked to adventurous experiences, offering truly unique moments of life to those who tried their hand at buying limited edition watches. For the 2020, the brand will give access to a shipment in theArctic with the explorer and Ambassador of the brand  Mike Horn, for buyers of the new submersible EcoPangea Tourbillon GMT. 

Water-resistant to 300 meters, this huge 50mm submersible watch is presented in brushed steel. Called EcoPangea, this particular material is actually recycled metal from the boat's Mike Horn, in fact, the Pangea. The unidirectional bezel is distinguished by its polished indexes on a sandblasted base. The technical character of the model is enriched by blue touches "arctic“, Including the signature of Mike Horn on the sapphire caseback. 

Inside beats the hand-wound caliber P.2005 / T. Made with 277 components, this titanium skeletonized movement is regulated by a 30-second tourbillon that rotates along a perpendicular axis. It displays hours, minutes, small seconds, a second time zone, a 24-hour indication and a 6-day power reserve thanks to the use of three barrels.

This limited edition of only 5 copies of the Submersible EcoPangea Tourbillon GMT Mike Horn Edition PAM01108, will only be available in boutiques Panerai and will come with a black rubber strap and a second textile strap PET recycled. It will be delivered in a recycled plastic box which includes a special tool to replace the strap and a screwdriver to remove the buckle. The price for this watch and this Arctic experience along with Mike Horn is set to 190.000 EURO.
