The Italian shooting of the film “House of Gucci” directed by Ridley Scott, a detective drama about the murder of Maurizio Gucci, continues in a heavily armored Milan. Adam Driver will play Guccio Gucci's late successor, while Lady Gaga will step into the shoes of Gucci's ex-wife, Patrizia Reggiani, sentenced to 18 years in prison for commissioning her husband's death in March of '95.

"House of Gucci" is mainly based on a true story, the murder of the former head of the Gucci brand really rocked the media in the 90s, but it draws inspiration from the book "House of Gucci: A sensational story of murder, madness, glamor and greed”By Sara Gay Forden. To keep the two protagonists company, we find a stellar cast with Hollywood stars such as Al Pacino, in the role of Aldo Gucci, Maurizio's uncle fired from the company and ended up in prison for tax evasion; Jaered Leto, son of Paolo Gucci and cousin of Maurizio; Jeremy Irons, in the role of Rodolfo Gucci, Maurizio's father who, dying, in 1983 left the reins of the company to his son.

During this week's shoot, Adam Driver was immortalized near the Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II, the 'living room of Milan', with a Jaeger LeCoultre “Reverso” in gold to complete the broken dress worn by the actor as Maurizio Gucci. A detail of style, in a set where we could consider among the protagonists, even the clothes themselves.

The film will be released in the United States on November 24, 2021, distributed by Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer.
