Since 2005 Hublot has been working alongside ONLY WATCH so that one day research can defeat Duchenne's myopathy and preserve future generations. As? Creating a unique piece every two years to be auctioned for the benefit of the association. A piece that with its singular alchemy generally makes the counters splash up.
This year, this one-of-a-kind piece is called the Big Bang Tourbillon Only Watch. Cut into sapphire, the transparent case and orange bezel immediately showcase Hublot know-how and ONLY WATCH 2021 color codes. The dial, also in sapphire, reveals the mechanics of the new self-winding manufacture tourbillon, MHUB6035, launched on last January.

Always in the same shades: flange, Superluminova on the hour hands, as well as minutes and Arabic numerals are tinged with orange. With the “Pièce Unique” engraving and the Only Watch logo on the sapphire background, the watch is combined with two interchangeable One Click straps in structured and striped orange rubber, one transparent, the other orange.
"Hublot & Only Watch is a story that has been going on since 2005, it is a cause, the will to join forces to fight disease, go beyond our limits and break records for a good cause. For this ninth edition, we have cast in a single piece, our iconic Big Bang model, one of our materials of flagship innovation, the sapphire, a transparent sapphire case and a bezel in one of the hardest colors to get, orange, and an innovative movement: our new self-winding tourbillon and its 3 bridges in sapphire. A complex and polarizing piece, at the same time very powerful, positive and inspiring that concentrates the best of Hublot for the good cause! "
Ricardo Guadeloupe Hublot CEO

Its transparency has nothing to hide, everything is visible and the watchmaker has the secrets to declining this ultra-resistant and hard material in almost all colors, without losing its clarity and purity. To make the bezel out of an orange sapphire, Hublot added another world first to its record book. A sapphire colored in the mass, a powerful, vibrant and positive orange color, born from the fusion of titanium and chrome and which incorporates the Only Watch codes.
To highlight this unique piece that exhibits total transparency, Hublot has decided to show everything without hiding anything right up to the case itself, entirely carved in sapphire. Enough to admire the Big Bang Tourbillon Only Watch as a work of art, from all points of view, from the strap to the case.

While traditional tourbillon movements are equipped with manual winding, the MHUB6035 caliber, entirely developed and designed by the Hublot Manufacture, features an automatic winding. Its angled, brushed and sandblasted 22 kt gold micro-rotor is visible on the side of the dial, to produce an effect that is both spectacular and sophisticated. Also playing on the absolute transparency of the case, the strap up to the movement, Hublot has integrated the sapphire into the caliber itself, equipping it for the first time with three sapphire bridges: barrel bridge, automatic winding bridge and tourbillon bar.
