After years of consolidation and growth, the Kering group officially sells 100% of Sowind group, owner of the Swiss manufactures of Girard-Perregaux and Ulysse Nardin, to the current management.

The luxury giant, which accompanied the Sowind group, guaranteeing adequate resources for constant evolution in terms of design and technical know-how, reorganizing production, strengthening ties with retailers and opening dealers, has managed to relaunch itself in the last ten years by creating a basis for the new "owners".

The leadership of the two brands will be in the hands of the current president and general director Patrick Pruniaux: "Thanks to the solid foundations built with support and investments, today we have the necessary means to create a long-term project capable of ensuring the sustainable development of the two brands".

The operation will be completed by the end of the first half of 2022 and the first appointment to understand which direction the two brands will take will be at "Watches & Wonders" scheduled in Geneva from 30 March to 5 April.
