On the occasion of the birthday of its founder Michel Parmigiani, the brand unveils the first of five unique pieces in the collection: La Rosa Celeste, a unique model in white gold 18ct.
In 2021, to celebrate the 25th anniversary of its creation, Parmigiani Fleurier presented La Rose Carree. Based on a calibre Louis-Elysee Piguet Grand Sonnerie, completely restored in the Parmigiani Fleurier workshops, a unique pocket watch.
Today, however, with the release of THE LIGHT BLUE ROSE the new collection is inaugurated, made up of five one-of-a-kind pieces with minute repeaters.
It is a unique creation in which all are represented Métiers d'Art acquired over the years by Parmigiani Fleurier, including engraving, enamelling and the mechanical art of haute horlogerie. Les Roses Carrees Grand Feu Collection "embodies" one of Michel's passions, the golden section and its representation in nature. We have a succession of finely engraved roses throughout the 42 casemm in white gold and a case back also engraved and subsequently enamelled Grand Feu.
The caliber that bat inside is the PF335 which appears to us almost suspended in thin air…The inside of the case has been completely worked to lighten the watch and to create a real sounding box. These two aspects help to increase the acoustic quality of the ringtone and its range.
Last element of quality? The striking sequence automatically skips dead times so, at 3:19, the three strokes for the three hours are immediately followed by a double stroke for the quarters and again, without silence, by the four strokes for the minutes. This need for ergonomics and directly perceptible quality is also reflected in a power reserve of 72 hours, or three whole days, another rarity for this complication.
