On the occasion of the 60th anniversary of the British secret agent with the qualification 007 or "licence to kill" Omega presents the new version of the Seamaster 300, an iconic model worn by James Bond in the series of the same name since 1995.

It has now been 27 years since the release of Goldeneye and Omega wants to take inspiration from what was the first 300 Seamaster 007. We can immediately notice the dodecagonal bezel in aluminum (yes, no ceramic) with a scale that ends not with the usual "triangle" to indicate the "O" but with a "60" to pay homage to the anniversary. The blue anodized aluminum dial features the entirely laser-engraved wave pattern and, above this, the hands rotate openworked and the now iconic lollipop to seconds.

Omega once again wants to pay homage to one of its watches cult taking its case and bracelet cues from the Seamaster 300 worn in No Time To Diand but this time, in stainless steel. Inside the case moves the caliber 8806, movement in-house certified Master Chronometer equipped with Co-Axial escapement and silicon hairspring. Resistant to magnetic fields up to 15,000 Gauss and with a frequency of 3.5 Hz, it guarantees 55 hours of power reserve. Special guilloche “Côtes de Genève” motif finish with rhodium-plated rotor and bridges.
And it is precisely by turning the watch that we are "welcomed" by the iconic opening sequence of the film, in which the silhouette of James Bond stands out and the rotating barrel of a pistol, all depicted on the sapphire crystal caseback using a technique of micro-structured metallization. The moiré animation recalls the rotation of the second hand "lollipop".

This new Seamaster 300 James Bond 60th anniversary will be available in the first months of 2023 at the price of 7,000CHF excluding taxes.
