Panerai presents, within the Radiomir family, an extraordinary watch that features unprecedented details. The Radiomir California PAM01349 is the first Radiomir with a 45 mm California dial, historically always produced with a 47 mm diameter, while its green color makes it a collector's item.
Inspired by the Ref 3646 watch from the Maison's archives, Panerai's California dial features alternating Roman and Arabic numerals, bar indexes and railway minute track. Hours 10, 11, 1 and 2 are indicated by Roman numerals, while hours 4, 5, 7 and 8 are indicated by Arabic numerals. The result is a dial in which each half is distinguished by two different types of numbers.

With the case made in burnished eSteelTM – an unprecedented finish used for the first time in Panerai's history – the timepiece sports a characteristic aged look, which adds to its appeal for watch connoisseurs looking for authentic values and timepieces with a history. The cases are finished by hand one by one to create an aged effect which gives each watch a unique character. The lived-in look of the eSteelTM case, obtained through PVD (Physical Vapor Deposition) treatment, combines with the characteristic 45 mm cushion shape, thin flush lugs and a dial with hollowed indexes and a textured gradient effect.
Super-LumiNova® highlights the California dial's iconic beige indexes, which glow green in the dark, while the dial's vintage appeal is accentuated by metallic blue hands and a domed sapphire crystal reminiscent of the Plexiglas® glass used in early versions of the Radiomir developed for the Italian Navy. The watch also features a conical crown, a design that distinguishes the Radiomir collection from other Panerai timepieces.

The PAM01349 is presented on a supple brown raw cut calfskin strap with three contrast stitching points. The strap features an exclusive detail of this timepiece, the hot stamped inscription “G. Panerai and Son”, the same phrase that was on the sign of the Panerai laboratory in Florence.
The hand-wound P.5000 caliber animates the Radiomir California and gives it an eight-day power reserve, as used historically by Panerai. The iconic 8-day movement can be admired thanks to the transparent case back. A distinctive element and part of the brand's DNA, the long power reserve was essential for the Panerai watches used by the commandos of the Italian Navy, guaranteeing reliability even in the most extreme conditions of use.

The Radiomir California is sold exclusively in Panerai boutiques.
