Chrono24, the leading online marketplace for luxury watches, announced that Formula 1 driver Charles Leclerc has joined the company as an investor.

Charles Leclerc and his brother Lorenzo, who advises him in his entrepreneurial adventures and with whom he founded a family office dedicated to athletes, All Time, join illustrious names among Chrono24's previous investors, including the famous footballer and collector of luxury watches, Cristiano Ronaldo (announced July 2023), Bernard Arnault's family investment firm Aglae Ventures, as well as General Atlantic, Insight Partners and Sprints Capital – who together led Chrono24's Series C funding round in August 2021, valued at 100 million euros – giving the marketplace, with the largest offering of luxury watches globally, unicorn status with a valuation of more than 1 billion euros. This financing follows the 2019 Series B financing, worth €43 million, by Sprints Capital, former Richemont director Gianni Serazzi, and YOOX-NET-A-PORTER founder Alberto Grignolo, among others , in addition to the €37 million from the 2015 Series A round from Insight Partners.

“The world of watches has always fascinated me as one of my many passions,” says the famous racing driver, Charles Leclerc. “There is a true unity among watch lovers around the world, and my brother and I are thrilled to be part of this community even more deeply through our involvement as investors in Chrono24.”
